July Poem-a-Day 2

15 July 2012

Today’s poem comes from the words murmur, treetop, purple, sensor, and kaleidoscope:

My legs dangle from the treetop. You can
see them below the kaleidoscope
of leaves. A breeze murmurs and my legs
swing back in reply. A purple bird
flies past. I sense that she is happy.
