It’s a storm… out there and in here

12 June 2012

Today was a scenic day, and I don’t mean that in a nice way. Wait–that’s not true. The whole day wasn’t scenic, only the late afternoon. The rest of my day was actually really good! I was so productive, and I love feeling like I’ve accomplished things. Then I left work to go to the chiro, had a good visit there (worked in Transform, stages 6 & 7, if any of you know what that means) and then on my drive home was suddenly bombarded with ugly scenes. Fires starting in my apartment, planes that I’m on crashing, houses I’m in being invaded. I know, I know, it’s weird. But anyway.

I believe that the right things happen for the right reasons, so while these things frustrate me sometimes (a lot) I do believe they help mould who I am, and they belong with me.

What do I mean by that? Well! I wouldn’t say I believe in something called “Fate,” but the world only happens in one way, right? What happens, happens, and that’s it. It didn’t happen any other way. So there’s a reason for that. Maybe not something or someone controlling that reason and making it happen that way, but if it were going to happen another way, it would have. It wouldn’t have happened this way. So, things happen for a reason. And because of that reason, they’re the right things to happen. Therefore…

the right things happen for the right reasons.
